types. I spent the morning up until the 3pm change round at Stanwell Moor aiming to get some banking departures, I did quite well but the cloud closed in around midday and it was far from ideal for photography but I stuck it out and then moved to the dead centre of Hounslow for the afternoon / evening arrivals when the weather got far better.
these are in time order to make it easier for me, starting with the departures (from about 09.45 onwards), see this post for a bit about the location: http://www.civilianaviation.co.uk/forum ... 36&t=28976

this was one i had really hoped to get pics of - weather was kind for it's departure

I really like Qantas bankers ( http://www.civilianaviation.co.uk/forum ... 12&t=27169 ) but I don't think this one will win anything, the cloud cover was 100% by the time this went

then it was off to Hounslow for the evening arrivals and far better weather. One of my targets was the Thai A.350 and the light just held for it, the Ethiopian A.350 arrived a few minutes later but by then it was too dark.
I thought I was in Dreamliner land, - lots of 787s!

and then I had a whale of a time:

another that scheme and type that was on my list, now i need to return on a day when the 380 operates...

and the same off into the sunset:

and the last one on my quarry list for the day, ISO 1600 and a +2 aperture compensation just about made it useable

and very last pic of the day - the sun goes down on another enjoyable day at Heathrow, that corner of an out of focus sign or post in the foreground spoils it a bit but at F 5.6 I was never going to get much depth of field
