Back in 2010 I was checked out on Andrewsfield's PA28R-180 Cherokee Arrow. It's impressively fast compared to the C172 and C152s I usually fly, and correct operation of the throttle, mixture and prop controls adds an additional challenge (not to mention ensuring the gear is down before landing!). Having A-checked the aircraft I had some free time while waiting for the instructor to arrive back from a lesson, so took a few shots on the ground:
