Heathrow 12/2/11

Post by IndiaEcho » Sun Feb 13, 2011 1:39 pm

Hello

I had a very enjoyable ride out to Heathrow yesterday - here is some of what I saw;-

I had not been there for long when Middle Eastern A321 F-ORMF arrived:-

There were a number of interesting US aircraft such as this Delta 767-400 in Skyteam livery:-

This -300 767 diverted in with a pneumatic problem:-

And this 777 was my first sighting of the 'new' United livery:-

Once you get to the afternoon, the numbers of flights from the US starts to decrease, and flights start from the Far East. Flights from Japan, such as this 777, are usually amongst the first to arrive:-

However, the best aircraft of the day was almost the last. Saudi 747SP HZ-AIF arrived just a couple of minutes before the runway change at 3pm:-

I travelled home via Denham and Fairoaks, and some photos from there will be posted in the GA forum.

Thanks for looking - many more photos from my day can be found at http://indiaecho-photography.fotopic.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It certainly was a great day, not least as the SP waited right until 3pm before it arrived.

No, I wasn't at Myrtle Avenue. These photos were taken from Feltham Cemetery, where you can spot from the car!!
