N234AX Omni Air B.767 Lakenheath 26-01-2024

Living just a few minutes from RAF Lakenheath, and being a fine sunny day, I popped over to get this Omni Air International B.767. Worth the walk from the car park to get this and the afternoon returning based aircraft.

Nicely caught, Ian, in lovely weather too - I bet it was brass monkeys though. :D :thumb:

Thanks Mike - not too bad 8 or 9 degrees and the right clothing :D. It has been colder out and about recently. A good hour or two and some exercise too - unlike the idiots who insist on parking on the verge which is a clearway on the main road.

I saw the aftermath of a nasty accident at the forest entrance once. A car that was being driven from the Brandon direction had come off the road and had smashed into a car that was parked on the verge and one of them had burst into flames. The driver was probably watching the landing F-111's instead of the road.
