I echo Mike's comments - lovely post full of colour and variety. All set against a Scottish sky - really want to get back over the border but will have to wait a while yet.

A lovely selection from what looks to be an excellent location for touchdown shots, with an unobtrusive background. Not often you see Dominican registered aircraft on these shores either.

Nice shots. As said, the background sets them off.
Thanks,
Pete.

Thanks very much Mike,Pete & Nighthawke
thanks PorkScratching the Dominican gulf was a real highlight for me as i though it had already departed, its the first time i have spotted a Dominican plane never mind photographing one!
intresting story with the touchdown shots, runway 24 was in use all day despite all the other scottish airports switching to easterlies at around 1600 EDI switched to easterlies but due to where the sun was ,shinying right down the runway ,i just stayed at the bravo link which is right where they touch down, normally i would be up at the mound or round the north side for 06 ops
