17 years ago in Madrid.

Post by burnsy133 » Tue Nov 03, 2020 4:06 pm

17 years ago i was lucky enough to be invited on a family and co-workers flight from Manchester to Madrid on the now long gone Air 2000...An early start from Manchester saw us arrive into Madrid around mid morning, whilst the rest of the aircraft headed of to see the sights of Madrid, me and a friend headed to the cafe to enjoy a days spotting, back then i was armed with a Fuji FinepixS7000 which was basically my first crack at digital, most of these were shot through the cafe window which doesnt lean towards amazing crisp shots, but i am so glad i stumbled across these on a old hard drive, most subjects have long since gone but these show that back in the day it was common to see aircraft with 4 engines on them operating pax services.

Nice. Especially the DC8s and the IBE 747s.
