following on from the previous photos I went back on Friday evening to try some night shots - I got there before dark to get set up and tried a few angles with the camera taking pics through the fence on a carefully placed tripod so the lens was close as possible and the tripod steady, then a long wait for darkness and then experimenting with different settings to try to get the light right, not just the normal point and shoot! After an hour of photography it was time for a careful narrow plank ditch crossing in the dark on my way back to the car.

I was reasonably happy, the strongest light was from the front which was trying to burn out the nose a bit, a bit more side light would have helped but they're static lights on tall poles, not set up like an organised night shoot so I had to work it out for myself but got there just about.
