Lakenheath: The Home of [Canadian] Classic Jets

Post by Professor_M » Thu Nov 30, 2023 7:42 pm

A few from a noticeably colder day at Lakenheath - the Skyhawk was out and about, as were no less than four Alpha Jets.
I'm still yet to tire of having these flying from Lakenheath - it certainly adds some nice variety to the day.

In the order taken...

Nice set in some decent weather for a change and looks like there are some ex. Korean AF Hawks on their way to Lakenheath tomorrow possibly. :D

Yes, got unlucky with a runway change so no photos of their recoveries, but some lovely sunshine nonetheless.

Looking forward to seeing these Hawks soon too, hopefully, - they may not be Kfirs/Mirages/Cheetahs/Fulcrums etc, but they're certainly something different and add some very welcome variety to visits to Lakenheath.
