Boeing 707
Well, it's my 'era' and I promise I'll do the DC8 next. So here's a selection of 707s, passenger and cargo, taken at LHR 1977/8 and Kai Tak 1975-7. Apologies for the quality. I'm not anywhere near professional and these were taken from the window of my room. I know I should have taken more care of the negatives but who was to know what interest there would be in the future let alone computers and the internet! Hope you find them of interest.

Re: Boeing 707
One of my favourite experiences with the old 707/720 series that used to absolutely terrify my mother......the inevitable waterfall of condensation from the ceiling as you took off
Mother was not a good flyer anyway and getting wet inside the plane used to tip her over the edge

What a fabulous aircraft the 707 was. When I think back to the variety of aircraft that I used to see at Manchester and especially Heathrow it makes me long for time travel!
As an aside the Air Canada looks like a DC8? I don't remember Air Canada having 707s?

It has the teddybear smiling snout, so definitely a DC8
