Condor Air to Air

Post by bizfreeq » Thu Apr 24, 2014 1:48 pm

Hi All
I have been meaning to put these up for a while now but just never got around to it until now.
Last June I was lucky enough to be offered the chance to do some air to air shots with a couple of Druine Condors out of Compton Abbas airfield in Dorset, through a pilot friend of mine. The weather was a bit hazy right from the start but unfortunately it got steadily worse as we went up again for the second aircraft. I am very happy with the results though as this was my first A2A shoot and considering the conditions managed some reasonable shots. My thanks to Ben and Mike for their piloting skills on the day and for putting up with my positioning requests!
Hope you enjoy:

Lovely shots Mark, I remember when Condors and Turbulents where quite common in the UK - especially at Redhill in the days of N.H.Jones and the Tiger Club. :) :thumb:

Stunning shots. I've tried A to A before in the past and it's not easy so well done. I had my first flight in a Condor, May '76. Flying lessons were £7 an hour...
