You've probably noticed the mpb.com banner on this and the fighter control forums and I've used them twice for major purchases in the last year so thought I would give some feedback for others considering a trade in for good second hand equipment.
I would give them a 100% positive score. Their website is easy and accurate and the individual product detail is excellent. I've had excellent and speedy service throughout my purchases with regular communications so I know just how my order is progressing.
Last week I decided to upgrade my EOS 70D to another 80D so I have two identical cameras, the online quote system is quick and easy although they don't confirm the value until they have received it and inspected it - they reduced mine a bit as the Canon battery was under-performing and taking a longer time to charge than expected (it was 8 years old so I think I got plenty of use out of it). They paid for the courier service (DPD) both ways so all I had to do was print the label and I duly dropped it off at the nearest pick up location last Saturday (rather than wait in for it to be collected). The camera I selected was reserved for me as soon as I selected it as part of the trade in service and once the price to pay was confirmed I paid for the camera yesterday lunchtime and it arrived by courier at 10am today and that was the free delivery option! I have to say I am very impressed.
Last summer after my 100-400 got an unexpected bath that knackered the electrics I bought a EF 70-300 as a replacement again from MPB and the service was equally as good then, ordered one afternoon and arrived the next morning so two positive results.
I'd been reluctant to buy used gear previous to that but others recommended them and have to say that I shall continue to go down the second hand route in future as the savings are so good and mpb will be my first stop when searching - thank you to them.
Now I need to get out and use the new camera!
Andy

I would echo Andy's comments on MPB. I have used them several times to sell gear. Currently got a lens to be picked up by DPD on Monday. I tried Wex for a quote or two but MPB beat them every time. Like you Andy I had a price reduced for a poor battery but have also had increases after their assessment was better than mine!

MPB are good, but it is worth shopping around. I sold an EOS 60D last year and Park Cameras offered me £30 more than MPB, with a similar level of good service (quick courier collection, inspection and payment).
