I visited this fly in for the first time in 2019 with a couple of friends & was plesently surprised at a) the amount of aircraft that attended & b) the access to the aircraft that was granted.
These are some of the aircraft in attendence :-

Lovely set Mick. Rougham is my "lunchtime local" - or was until lockdown. I usually seem to miss their events due to various reasons so good to see what turned out.

very nice sets of photos Mick. Thanks for posting them.
For info this fly-in was organised by the North Weald Marshalling Team and there were 150 aircraft visited over the weekend, a new record for the most aircraft at the airfield over a weekend I believe.
Hopefully this years event which is planned for September 19-20th may still go ahead, depending on what rules are in place at the time. The team are planning for it anyway. I hope it will happen as I missed it last year as I was in Switzerland

Lovely shots and a selection of interesting aircraft types - Navion and Argus being two particular highlights for me.
Whilst being a little way from Somerset, if it does go ahead this year it looks as though it would justify the cost of a tank of diesel.
Thanks for posting
Neil

Hi
I am a member of the North Weald Maeshaling Team(NWMT),which we share the proceedings with Rougham.
It is a friendly atmosphere all round.Once there you pay £5 each but basically you can wonder anywhere you like apart from the runway.
Last year on Saturday we had 73 visitors and 65 Sunday I believe it was and all with lovely weather and you can see anything inbound/outbound Mildenhall
hope it goes ahead
