Air France's first A320 F-GFKA

As we now have the current A320 on the other thread. Here is a picture of the first Air France A320-111 c/n 5 F-GFKA. Note the lack of wingtip fence on these -100s.

Delivered to the Airline 32 years ago on 26/03/1988. This was taken at Heathrow 31 August 2009, when I had been in service over 21 years. It was withdrawn and scrapped one year later in 2010.

Strange to think that the A320 family is now over 30 years old, it doesn't feel that long ago that they were being rolled out! I think Air France may be one of the only major European airlines to have not updated their scheme over the past few years too,
