I've voted for Negus but that's a great set of pictures all round and you've done well to see them all in a day. I must get myself up to Heathrow in the autumn light to photograph a few.

Great pics.

thanks Neil, I was torn between the BOAC and Landor but went for the latter as my favourite of the BA schemes, at least they didn't paint any with the crazy tail designs of the mid 90s. I remember when the first BOAC ones arrived on delivery and they were parked over on the maintenance base for about a year because of as pilots' dispute over extra pay for flying them.

I saw 3 of the 4 when I was at Heathrow in June for 2 days, missed the Negus as from memory it was stuck somewhere with a problem

The smallest aircraft is still my favourite colourscheme. But they are all great to see.
Oh, yeah.... Nice shots Andy :thumb: :thumb:

Good idea for a post/poll Andy, and well caught as always. Have grown up with BA schemes but can recall seeing BOAC and BEA schemes when they were still operating as such, plus of course the odd one or two preserved. So my choice was the BOAC - it had to be a 747 so sorry BEA scheme!

thanks, the pre amalgamation ones certainly seem most popular so far, BEA well ahead with BOAC second.
