Re: SPOTM June 2019 - Emergency services aircraft
A change of entry from me, taken in April 2013. I've posted pics from Rayne Hall Farm airstrip before less than a mile from my home but this was even closer - about 250 metres! This East Anglian Air Ambulance EC.135 landed on the village playing field one Sunday morning causing all football matches to stop (and ultimately be abandoned) and I was there with camera trying some sports photography at the time - I didn't expect a paramedic running across the field to be a subject! I wonder what the referee's match report said? shame the pilot wasn't the Duke of Cambridge that would have rounded it off nicely!

N23SA - Conroy Tri Turbo Three at Farnborough Air Show on 9th September 1978. Originally built in 1942 as a C53 military transport for USAAF. Converted to a Tri Turbo Three in 1977 and subsequently fitted with skis for use in Polar regions (was used in both the Arctic and Antarctica). One of only two ever built.
