Howdy Fellas,
I transited through Heathrow on Thursday 27th December 2018 and as we were taxiing out on the connecting flight I spotted what looked like a private 747 parked up on the far side of 27L opposite Terminal 4. I couldn't see it clearly though as it was a very foggy day, it looked white with a flag of some description on the tail. I'd appreciate any help on this as my visit was a bit of a disappointment given that Terminal 3 has no windows so was stuck in there for 3+ hours with nothing to look at :/
Cheers,
Phil

Phil - Sultan of Brunei's private 747 V8-BKH was in all over Xmas so it might well have been that, here's a pic of it if it helps:

only others I can think of that it could have been is one of the Dubai Air Wing 747 A6-MMM or A6-HRM they have a flag on the tail but can't see any records of them there on that date. The Qatar 747-8i was in later in the evening for a couple of hours but you said 'day' in your post so i'm assuming earlier then that one's arrival.

I can confirm this was parked over there the whole duration of my visit 27-29th December. No other VIP B747s were present.

That certainly looks like him, like I said it was a bit foggy and I only spotted him from G-CIVL as we were in the queue for 27L but couldn't get a better look as they switched us to 27R :/
Thanks for your help, it's much appreciated
