Not me either, but it makes sense, particularly when his seat for next season wasn't guaranteed.

I wonder if he is leaving F1 or motorsport in general. Lots of other places for a driver to go, FIA WEC, FE and DTM would all be viable options with factory teams that have the budget for him. With Webber retiring from Porsche in the WEC this year, there is an F1 driver shaped gap in a championship winning team there waiting for him.

any real driver should try Indycar after F1

tintops are too safe and boring..then again F1 has been boring for a few years but i still watch every race in the hope of a good race !
