that was actually last year but still a good story.

Leeds Magistrates’ Court heard that the driver had numerous opportunities to move into the inside lane but failed to do so.
Instead he was said to have driven in an “inconsiderate manner” for several miles, causing inconvenience to other road users.
The driver failed to turn up to court and was fined £500 in his absence and ordered to pay £400 in costs with a £40 victim surcharge.

maybe he didn't turn up in court because he was still stuck in the middle lane :D :D

Nearly as bad as the two Norbert Dentressangle artics on the M4 westbound today that took ten minutes to overtake one another. Inside lane truck - 55mph, middle lane truck 55.1mph, the middle lane was full of fuming truckers who of course had to sit tight and wait for the idiot to complete his long winded manoeuvre. They were side by side from junction 18 to junction 19, the M32 where they both exited anyway. Pillock. Or should I say, "le pillock".

what are 'truming f...' whoops sorry mis-read it!

I know it's only two lanes but the M11 between Stansted and duxford has to be one of the worst motorway stretches in the UK, you can't drive it without an artic pulling into the outside lane on a downhill stretch to pass his twin brother only to find he can't get up the hill a bit further on - it can be a nightmare.

I know exactly the stretch you mean Andy - and it always seems to grind to a halt at one point, no matter what time of day /day of the week it is that I drive along it...

Then again that is still not as bad as the A14 past Cambridge!!
