Mike- Loved ELO what a fantastic show- worth every penny of the entry fee- still buzzing now- caught me out with the set list though changed it around from previous ones.

The support band "The Feeling" were also amazing.

Happy Days

The support band tomorrow are The Shoos, they're Irish apparently - never heard of them, though.

They were amazing last night, every song was perfect - the best yet, and I'm 99.9999% sure that Jeff said "Good evening Brighton" after they did the first song !

Really impressed with Jeff Lynne at Glastonbury last night. Fabulous performance and every musicician and vocalist was excellent. There wasn't one spare part amongst them.
Also everyone had a smile on their face. Lovely to see in turbulent times such as these. Good music does the heart good!
More please!

Ah. I'd like to have an argument, please. ... Receptionist: Well, It's one pound for a five minute argument, but only eight pounds for a course of ten.

The show was even better in Birmingham on Friday - a fantastic light show, no rain  - and great acoustics echoing around the 15,000 seater arena. :)

:D

Mike- Took the words out of my mouth- saw they were touring again and will keep a look out for tickets- went to the MEN last night Monday and saw the Killers- the were fantastic- got to say they are the best I have ever seen live. I know you will more than likely disagree with me- but my top five live have got to be 1. The Killers, 2. Cold Play, 3. Kaiser Chiefs 4. Jeff Lynne's ELO and slipping to 5. U2. Have seen lots of other groups- most of which have disbanded. Hopefully Jeff and co will go up the standings next year.

Two concerts booked already for 2018- The Script and Elbow both at the Manchester Arena.

Happy days
