hope we dont get a repetition of the flight disruption of 4 years ago, especially as I'm off to Canada & USA for 2 1/2 weeks in September & October

I wouldn't mind, last time I didn't manage to take advantage of shooting approaches at Stansted - not something you can usually do easily in a C172.

It shouldn't do, if it does cause any disruption to airtravel it'll only be to high level traffic (biz, airlners etc).
