GOOGLE groups / Virgin emails

due to recent changes Google egroups no longer accepts emails from virgin email accounts. As a result all my google egroups have reverted back to using the yahoo email address that was also assigned to it, which in turn has meant I have had to change my yahoo egroups back to my yahoo email as well so as to be using just one email account to view all egroup emails. In itself not a difficult task - however some yahoo egroups do not want their users using yahoo emails (due to yahoo security issues).
This means I need to sort out another email (which will more likely be google mail) but I cannot work out how to change my assigned email in google groups to anything other than the yahoo email it currently uses. Can anybody point me in the right direction to do this?
