Hi,

I just stumbled across an eBay auction of an old steering wheel that is declared to be an original Zeppelin steering wheel. Can anyody tell me how likely it is that this piece is genuine?

Hi Peter, welcome to CA.

The only way to be sure that this is a genuine article is to have it independently appraised by someone that is an expert in Zeppelins. I think that anyone who parts with that sort of cash in the hope of it being genuine, and not a reproduction, is taking a bit of a gamble.

You might be better posting your enquiry on Key Aviation Forums as there are a lot of knowledgeable people on there who may be able to help and even trade aeronautical relics too .
