Value of camera equipment described below?

Post by Danseaman » Mon Feb 14, 2011 12:17 pm

After a family friend's dad sadly passed away, he is looking to sell the following camera equipment, however before selling he would like to know a rough value of these as research on the internet has proved un-successful!

All look to be in good condition and any help would be greatly appreciated!

First: A 200mm lens

Secondly: Looks like a old flash gun?

Lastly: I have no idea what this is so if anyone could en-lighten me it would be helpful!

Many thanks everyone

Sorry it has taken me a few days to reply, sadly the first two items shown have very little monetary value at all, but that last item may be worth a couple of quid

As an example there was a couple of Chinon 200mm M42 screw mount lenses sold on e bay last week ranging from £4.99 for the cheapest to £25.00 for the dearest and a couple around the £12.00 mark

There was one fitted to a Miranda camera up at £15.00 that went unsold

There was a Vintage West Folding Flash Units up at 99p start that went unsold and the best price made by a similar item was £5.00 for a flash unit branded national

That last item is a Voigtlander Rangefinder and would be used to calculate the distance between the camera and the subject so you could set the focus distance on a manual camera with no focusing aids
Now a nice example of that Voigtlander Rangefinder in its original box made £62.00 last week with an unboxed version making £26.00 so that rangefinder may be the best of the bunch
