Hi
Here is another recent build , nice kit but the decals were a nightmare , broke up as soon as they smelt water so had to get a set from 26 Finished as G-ASGC which is now at Duxford IWM and I had the great pleasure of being on board when it was delivered
Thanks for looking
Paul

Hi Ian
Its not a bad kit , good fit , but missing the small wing fences , nothing a bit of plastic card cant fix , the main problem is the decals ...totally unusable It seems to be a problem with a lot of Roden kits ....look fantastic til you want to use them , even a sniff of water and they break up ..I have tried various varnishes/sealis over the top ...it worked well until 12 hoursd later when they curled off the kit whilst drying Sad really
Hope that helps a little , there are decals for it out there
Hope you enjoy your build , and look forward to seeing it on here
Cheers

Did the South African Super VC10 a couple of months ago. Not a bad kit, but, as always, be careful with the decals, but it is a nice addition to my collection. Currently doing the Roden ATL CARVAIR. Ghastly kit, but will be worth spending time on for it's quirkiness.

Hi John
Thanks for the comments ...but...the VC-10 you made was East African , South Africa never operated them Roden decals are only good for the bin wont even consider uasing them
The Carvair is not a bad kit did mine as Aer Lingus will post later along with my F-RSIN CV880 ...a bit of work and its OK ..the CV990 is much better , the Trident 3 better still , I think they are slowly improving
Cheers
