Revell 1/144th Boeing 747-200 BA

Hi Part 2 of a multi part post

Revell Boeing 747 made from the E4B kit wirh Bra-Z RB-211 engines and completed using 26 decals for the Landor scheme , all paint apart from the natural metal areas which is Alclad and the underside/engines in Xtracolor insignia blue is Halfords appliance white and black mixed to obtain the colours I wanted

That's a real beaut Paul, I remember making the original Airfix BA 1/144 747 when it first came out - it hung from my office ceiling in the Bonded store at Edinburgh airport for years. That wasn't yesterday either. :Wow: :whistle:

Don't usually pay much attention to modelling threads, but the topic caught mye eye. What a stunning result! Very well done that man :thumb:

Like you Mike I made that Airfix 747 when it first came out....hand painted it in Pan Am colours :( My how things have changed , that was one of last airliners I made until July this year :)
