Pinewood Film Studio !

Obvously not an airport but Pinewood has gained a new resident in the shape of ex Highland Airways Jetstream 31 G-UIST.

It left Inverness yesterday on a low-loader after having it's wings and tail removed.

Im up there on monday so will see if it has arrived. You sure its for Highlander Flaps? I know its busy up there at the moment with the new Alien film (they are building some sort of space port at the moment), Tim Burtons Dark Shadows and the new X-men

It maybe slightly early for production but is it by any chance in connection with a certain Secret Agent's next movie due out next Year?

I went looking for it today and it wasnt there unless its already in a workshop?. its not for XMen or Alien thats for sure and seems pretty early for the Bond! but i too will be keeping an eye out for it!!

The fuselage of Jetstream G-EDAY has also gone to a storage area for Pinewood Studios - it left Inverness by road on 31/05 and the wings are rumoured to have gone to Humberside.
