Daks over Duxford Monday 3 June 2019

Went on the Monday - officially just a Museum day rather than the full show. We had an eleven aircraft stream in the morning and a three ship Vic in the afternoon.

Lovely shots, we've been very lucky to have all of these DC-3s in the UK this year. :D

I presume the Tiger Moth with the insecure panel landed OK and got a bollocking afterwards. :o

I went to the classic wings boarding point immediately I noticed it. They called him back and then I watched the groundcrew pressing and pushing the hatch for about 5 mins. Definitely bent the hinges a little. But once finally secured, it flew again later so the engineers must have deemed it OK. :unsure:
