Great photos of something we're unlikely to witness in the UK again.

The Dakota, in the same manner as the Spitfire, has a particularly distinctive engine note that brings on a serious case of nostalgia.

Paul,

just noticed that in your pic of the Norwegian Dak you captured its single engine landing wiith No.1 shut down and prop feathered. Apparently it lost partial power in No.1 and oil pressure in No.2.
