Vintage Aircraft Fly-In - Compton Abbas Sunday 12 May

So far this year the wind has curtailed a few of the fly-in events I've attended or planned to attend. However, the Compton Abbas Vintage Fly In was blessed with fine weather and not much of a crosswind factor, which is quite important given it's high up on a hill.
Attendance from the public was the most I've ever seen at Compton with cars being parked in the adjacent country lanes some distance away and the queue for the Cafe stretching way out in to the car park even when I arrived early.
Aircraft attendance was very good in terms of numbers and quality and the pictures below represent a part of the vintage and classic element and ignores the more modern types.
