Stow Maries Remembrance Day event 13-11-2016

I spent yesterday morning at Stow Maries in the cold but sunny weather. Very little happened apart from the 3 Stampes which arrived from Headcorn to do a poppy drop as part of the service and a local flight by the Nieuport 17 which has recently moved here from duxford. Here are a few photos.....

Nice pics, thanks for posting. Surprised the event took place as the airfield is NOTAM'd as closed until 2nd December.

It went ahead but no visitors were accepted due to the NoTAM apart from the Stampes who did the poppy drop. I was told the NoTAM is now effective until end of March
