Once the place to see latest types and variants. Now you have to be quick before they go. There must have been a lot of empty space by the weekend.
They do not even open the chalets to the public now at weekends.
Pics are not great, normal Farnborough clutter, but my memories of the more interesting airliners.
Hope you enjoy seeing what was around.
Pete.

Nice shots. The Air Asia was there in conjunction with the major Airbus order they placed that day at the show.

that's a nice selection, I like the An.124 ans 747-8F pics as a comparison.

It is a shame that the show has declined on the public days, I wonder how long it will be before it ends on the Friday. The shows of the 60's and 70's were such amazing events that it saddens me to see what it's like now. All the banners and fences make photography much harder but I suppose it's all about sales and not a spectacle for the public, you did very well in the circumstances.

I last went 6 years ago and was a bit underwhelmed by it and can't see me ever going back now, with the airliners etc not there on public days I prefer to go to an airport nowadays. Just 2 posts form Farnborough is an indication of the decline of the show (and neither from the public days) - did anybody go over the weekend?

thanks for posting them.
