I do like to be beside the seaside - Clacton 21 & 22-8-2014

Post your airshow images here, military aircraft that attend civilian airshows can be posted as long as the bulk of the photos in the thread are of civilian participants.

I spent 2 days at the clacton airshow on Thursday and Friday this week, here is a selection of the fruits of my labours:

One of the beneficiaries of the show, the Essex Air Ambulance:

Nice Andy...

I was down there for the show yesterday, at the end of the pier. Would definitely recommend that spot for next year if you head down there again.

thanks - I was at the quiet end out on the beach / breakwater near Jaywick for most of the time. I thought the pier would be too crowded - was it?

The pier was OK space wise. We got there about an hour before the flying started and were right on the barrier, looking down along the flight line.

Got some nice close flybys, even from the Lancs!
