I went to Little Gransden on sunday and as usual the show did NOT disappoint…..
Mark Jeffries did his usual amazing display in the Extra 330SC (I think the SC should stand for sickbags compulsory!)

A selection of the tiger moths, stampe and chipmunks
G-ACDA

G-BLUZ

G-BRXP

Chipmunk WG407 has the civil reg G-BWMX

WD286 also has a civil i.d. - G-BBND

One of 2 Austers that attended (and one displayed) G-ASCC carries reg XP254

A rotary contribution in the form of Bell 47 G-MASH

Some of the YAKs

G-YCII

G-YAKG

one of 2 Stearmans that attended (N4721V)

FENEC

A couple of WW1 replicas, Fokker DR1 (G-FOKK) and BE2c (G-AWYI)

A few of the many other visiting aircraft
Pitts N74DC

G-BNIO Luscombe Silvaire

Miles Hawk G-AKPF

G-GPMW

A couple of different WACOs

Mustang Marinell (G-MRLL)

And a Harvard (G-ELMH) and Kitty hawk (G-KITT) from the same era

Then the heavies:
The BBMF Lancaster

And B.17 Sally B

The SWIP team did a nice show:

And finally my caption for this pic:

Stearman overhead
– the fence line was fairly busy and conjested and I failed to get decent shots of some of the other participants, the crowd seemed much larger than last year but as usual a wonderful selection of al l types of aircraft, I still maintain it is one of the most enjoyable shows on the circuit. I had to leave after the B.17 so missed anything that displayed after 3pm
