The RAF's Typhoon Display opened the show - more modern front-line RAF participation came from the Chinook role-demo later in the day (meanwhile the BBMF had been due to open the show, but were pushed back to the end of the display and then cancelled altogether due to weather)...

The ever impressive Jet Pitts was one of many aerobatic acts present, the list also including The Starlings, Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers, Team Raven and the Stampe Formation Team...

As the sun remained behind some substantial clouds, the AAC Capability Demo was followed by a training sequence of a Yak-52, Chipmunk and Bulldog, then a Jet Provost T5 and bringing things up to date, the RAF's Tutor. Things then got rather damp by the time the B-17 flew with the Thunderbolt...

Immediately after Team Raven finished their display, the sun came out for the Apaches to once again head back to Wattisham (they arrived at Duxford in the morning, departed back to Wattisham "for fuel" at the start of the flying display, landed after their Capability Demonstration and then departed at the end of the day)...
