I couldn't resist a title like that. On Saturday I went to Rougham just east of Bury St Edmunds (suffolk) to the north Weald Marshalling Team's fly in, over 100 aircraft visited and I was particularly pleased to see 3 Beagle Pups and a couple of Bulldogs plus a Husky for good measure
here are some pics....
one man and his dog! there were several dogs accompanying their owners

I could continue the animal theme with a Kitfox and a Chipmunk but I'll leave it at these otherwise people will think the forum has gone to the dogs
I'll post some others later in a separate topic rather than overload this one

Great stuff Andy. I would have loved to have gone as Rougham is more or less my local. However we were away for a few days in Wales so missed out. Not much happening where we were but it was a good break. Hopefully catch Rougham next year.

Re: a bit like Crufts at Rougham 18-09-2021
thanks for the comments guys.
it was a great day out, a very relaxed atmosphere and we were able to walk round all the parked aircraft at will. plenty of choices for taking landing / take off pics as well and sun was behind us all day, only problem was heat haze as the day went on.
Certainly worth visiting in future years especially with over 100 aircraft visiting and many of the oldies. I shall go there again for that and other fly ins that happen there.
And as I said it's a bit like crufts with the canine links I should nominate a best of breed and even show champion. A bit difficult but for me the 3 Pups were equally well turned out
