This was my first evening show this year and cloudless skies meant lovely evening light as the show progressed finishing with the Edwardians doing their piece as dusk descended. An excellent show once again with the drive-in format still in use. One or two not following the rules but generally well behaved.
here we go starting with the only true military registration of the day...

This is a really lovely set Andy with some beautiful "golden hour" lighting.

Re: Shuttleworth evening show 17-07-2021
thanks for the comments guys, the light got really good into the evening. To start with it was a bit harsh and a bit too bright - I was trying to keep the speed down to around 1/250-400th for prop blur and aperture F7.1 (around the sweet spot for the lens) but even at ISO 100 I couldn't get it down to the levels I wanted. I was ending up at F10 or more until mid display.
I wonder if an ND or polarising filter would have helped to get it down - something to test on a bright day on nothing important. I have found a polariser slow to focus in the past (on my 100-400) so am hesitant about that - thoughts please anybody?
