Is the AeroExpo any good??
Thinking of spending a day there, one aim is to practice panning prior to RIAT in July.
Can I get close enough to the runway? (70-300 lens on an 80D)
Thanks,
Mick
Did you know that registration to Civilian Aviation is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....
AeroExpo at Booker
Re: AeroExpo at Booker
I haven't been to the event at Booker.
Is it the same format as Sywell used to be?
Can visitors be read off easily - not interested in photos.
Thanks
Trevor

Re: AeroExpo at Booker
Yes, it is similar to the Expo events held in recent years at Sywell.
Reg taking similar to Sywell. You can read them landing/taking off. Once parked, similar to Sywell, walking up and down will get about 2/3 of them, becoming easier mid afternoon as they depart.
Photos - if landing E to W across the M40 then pictures at East end of fencing ok with your lens. If taking off that way - not so sure.
I'm sure you will both enjoy the day if weather fine.
Good luck
Pete.

Not sure there will be access to parked visitor aircraft
Re: AeroExpo at Booker
At previous Expo's both Sywell and Booker - there has been no access Airside for the general public.
