Civilian Aviation

I thought I'd pose the question partly so that we hopefully get a bit of a list of what's going on in 2016 particularly with the smaller fly-ins which don't often get much publicity.

for me 2016 will probably consist of the following:
2 or 3 Old Warden events (not decided which but I attended the Season premiere and Chipmunk fly in during May for starters
Little Gransden (ticket bought) but if wife wants to go I might have to upgrade to VIP.
Some of the Stow Maries events (I attended last Friday evening's fly in and display)
The Air Britain fly in at North Weald (18th & 19th June)
probably one Duxford show as well as some of the arrivals days
Clacton sea front display
my very local fly in and hog roast at Rayne farm strip (20th August)
I might try the LAA rally at Sywell as I haven't been to one for years
and hopefully one or two more smaller events (I find them better for photography than the large displays).

Hopefully (As long as I can get my carer (Wife) to take an interest) I'll be at Rhyl and Southport, it all depends on my good lady wifes shift patterns for those weekends.
I'd love to get to RIAT for a day but the journey is too prohibitive.

I'm hoping to visit the fly in at one of my local airfields, Stoke Golding

Stow Maries for me tomorrow. I'm working with the marshalling team booking in the visiting aircraft amongst other bits and pieces so if you're there pop along to see me!
