Air-Britain, the UK’s oldest aviation historians & enthusiasts’ charity, will holding be its 42nd annual Classic Fly-In at White Waltham Airfield (EGLM) near Maidenhead over the weekend of 25-26 June 2022 in partnership with the West London Aero Club. This is the longest running such event in the UK which is run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.

As part of our American Classics theme this year we have invited the Aeronca Club of GB who are marking their 30th anniversary, Luscombe aircraft owners as 2022 is the 85th anniversary of the Luscombe 8’s first flight and Piper Vagabond owners, as the Vagabond first flew 75 years ago. All aircraft are welcome
For those wish to fly into White Waltham, could pilots please arrange your PPR booking be emailing Ops@wlac.co.uk with your details.
For those coming by road entry on the gate is just £5 per person, under 12s free. There are no advanced bookings required.
As usual, we will be offering our traditional hospitality for both days and a number of awards will be given to visiting aircraft on the Saturday. Catering and sales vendors will be onsite.
Our annual Fly-In has established a reputation for being a friendly event that brings together pilots, enthusiasts, historians and the public to exchange experiences and knowledge in a relaxed social atmosphere. We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us.

Will there be any access for photographers to take pictures of the visiting aircraft? From the webcam it appears not...

At past events the aircraft have been parked conveniently for viewing and photos, I would be very surprised if photos are not possible.

Yesterday -for morning arrivals we were behind fencing. Around lunch time, we were allowed access to wander around visiting aircraft.
