What . A Shame

Just my opinion ...
Have been coming to Mawgan Porth (at the end of the Newquay runway) since the early 70's when it was a busy military base.
Now it is almost "dead" with only two scheduled airlines operating it so far as I have been able to tell in the past 6 days. FlyBe and Isle Of Scilly. I have been past the terminal virtually everyday and seen nothing sitting on the apron and have logged more of the Classic Air Force flying than anything else.
What a shame for such a large airbase to turn into.
I hope it improves or I fear for it's survival.
I am sure the locals will not agree with me, but I just feel so sad that I have slides of a mass departure of over 30+ military aircraft from RAF St Mawgan & now you are lucky to see 10 movements.
