Newcastle Flying School

Newcastle (EGNT) gets a new flying school and aircraft hire facility. from 4th July 2015.

Border Air Training Ltd, (AOC GB2379 and RTF OCP0428) who already have operations at Cumbernauld, Oban as well as their original base at Carlisle have opened a new facility for pilot training,aircraft hire and pilot support services at Newcastle airport. Border Air will be trading as 'Newcastle Flying School' and are based in the Sampson building on the south side of the airport.

In the first instance aircraft available will be PA28 varieties including Warrior and Arrow. These aircraft are maintained by Northumberland Aircraft Maintenance, A wholly owned part of the Border Air group of companies.

Border Air has almost 25 years continual experience of flight training provision and is proud of its record of producing and supporting well trained, safe pilots by utilising well maintained aeroplanes, and careful very experienced and professional instructors who work together to ensure the very best training available in a friendly and encouraging manner.
