can any kind guy tell me the freq for dep 09l/09r soth/south east. i thought it was 134.125 but thats west bound. thanks mike.

120.525 assuming you're on about DET/DVR departures

Its 133.175 outbound via Midhurst to the South throughout the day

This changes in the evening to 134.125 as you thought , when things quieten off

thanks guys. i go on 134.125 in evening its ok for outbound sw from 09l/09r but even on 120.525 or 133.176 its not for aircraft eg sinapore, saa etc.

That'll be because they go North-East via BPK I guess 118.825

mike here im a dozy oap and im strugling here. all day i sit and watch flights leaving 09r/09l going north i can only get them on radio when they are at least 40 mikes out on 130.925 i have tried to find freq b4 that 119.725 118.825 but to no avail. its really getting to me now. after leaving tower freq what freq will they use. any help would be great. thanks.

Hi

Im in Cardiff and I can hear aircraft departing to the North on VHF. When the leave the tower freq they change to 119.775 and fly towards WOBURN They then change to 130.925

Looking at Runnymede I guess you will see two departure routes, one in a left turn to the SE where they will go from LHR tower to 120.525 and then to airways 134.9. Secondly will be the SAA route to S and SW where they will use 133.175 (134.155) before changing to 135.325

I cant understand why you cant hear these living so close ?? Im 140 miles away and can pick them within about 2 mins of lifting

What scanner and antenna do you use ??

I see you mention Singapore several times in your questions about southbound departures.
I assume you are aware that many of the far eastern airlines/departures go north over the pole.
