I caught it going out on Saturday morning, not a great shot as it was taken through glass and into the sun

yes it was taken from the Renaissance Hotel

awesome view from the rooms on the third floor but the winter sun was a real pain and made photography very difficult almost impossible, lots of shots spoilt by reflections off the windows

now that would make the Renascence worth a visit

In the room that i was in you could slide back the two layers of secondary glazing so you were only shooting through one pane of glass but it was still a pain with the glass and the sun

Sunday was better as the cloud and rains came in and the winter sun was hidden by the cloud, this Malaysia A380 taken on the Sunday has some interesting extensions to the stripes on its livery
