New type approvals for LCY - Feb 2019

Before new aircraft types can operate at LCY they need to undergo certification testing due to the steep approach and short runway.

Separately to this they need to be approved by Newham Council in relation to noise control planning constraints.

There new types have now been approved for operations at LCY:

• Bombardier Challenger 350
• Gulfstream GVI
• Pilatus PC24
