Re: Glasgow gets second EK flight
I think this is good for Glasgow and to get an A340 is also a bonus, however, I can't help feel let down by Edinburgh Airport as an Edinburgh Resident. Surely there was an opportunity here for the busiest Scottish Airport to get a foothold in the world market by getting an Emirates flight.
I'm in no doubt that a large portion of the Emirates demand comes from East Coast, I'm flying to Melbourne via Dubai from Glasgow myself in March but yet they have not secured this flight.
Congratulations Glasgow
Sort yourselves out Edinburgh - Can't rely on just Easyjet and Ryanair!!

However, from 2013, Emirates will retire the A343 from service so it may become an A345 or another aircraft type
