What type of Helicopter
What type of helicopter has just landed at Edinburgh? Rotors made some noise. Did see it but wondered what type it was.

"Rotors made some noise"
Isn't that normal for a helicopter?

Re: What type of Helicopter
Good evening,
I agree with Mike on this one. But, if you are interested, keep an eye on http://www.egph.co.uk over the next couple of days and the visitor may be documented. There is usually a delay of 2-3 days for updates.
All the best,

Re: What type of Helicopter
Hi guys sorry about that, meant to say that the pitch of the rotors sounded slightly noisier than your average Jet Ranger or Squirrel, mind you the likes of an S.92 or Merlin may sound heavier due to being larger helicopter, by the way I discovered through listening to the scanner that it was an S.92 (first one I've seen) so that answers my question.
Re: What type of Helicopter
Hi S -92 was G-WNSE I have a photo of it on Helipad if you want to see it mate. Graeme
