SPOTM July 2022 - Your favourite helicopter photo (bonus for a Sikorsky!)

Okay, after even more discussions with the other admins I am simplifying the subject of this competition to 'your favourite helicopter photo' with a bonus point available for a Sikorsky to reflect the original title

NOW a way to get an extra point when it comes to voting.....
Originally the subject was Sikorsky so if your entry is a Sikorsky design original or built under licence/partnership then you will receive ONE EXTRA VOTE/POINT (added to scores at the end of voting), this is partly a pressie from me as this is my 100th SPOTM that I have run - that's a lot of subjects!

SO - this is the SPOTM (Special Photo Of The Month) competition for July 2022 and the subject is your favourite helicopter photo with a Sikorsky bonus (see and read above intro), it’s 50 years since Igor’s death and any civil registered helicopter photo is eligible.

The subject of your entry should be a photo of one or more civilian registered helicopter.

Photography Competition Rules :-

1. Only one entry per user, unless posting on behalf of another person who is unable to do so themselves (children for example). If this is the case, please state so on your entry..

2. The photo may have been taken on any date, it does not have to be taken in the month of the competition

3. The image can be photo-shopped to some extent, levels changes, cropping, sharpening etc. are all acceptable. The photograph must retain it’s initial subject though, don’t make it something it’s not. HDR images are not acceptable. If you are unsure, please PM a moderator.

4. The competition will remain open until 23.59 (UK time) on the 7th August 2022 - please note the extended closing date to enable anyone with a last minute photo plenty of time to prepare their entry.

5. Voting will be conducted by a poll open to all the membership shortly after the closure of the competition.

6. 'Rule 6...' There's no rule 6, Bruce'

7. The decision of the moderating team is final.

8. All images must be posted in line with the usual CA posting rules (size etc.), please read them if you're not sure how to post.

9. The rules may be subject to change, and these will be posted on this thread.

10. Please also embed the images and not links to images, if you're not sure how to do it then shout up and someone will sort it out. It is permissible to change your entry before the closing date.

11. Do not comment on other member's photos.

12. A brief description of where and when the image was taken would be nice too.

If you have any questions please PM me
Andy

Have to say I'm struggling even with this very open helicopter category. However as I have only a few civil photos a favourite is straightforward and thrown in here just to boost the numbers as the quality is poor. French registered SA321 Super Frelons at Kai Tak on route to PRC in 1976.

N618CK Sikorsky S-61NM Croman Corporation Boeing Field 7 November 2017. This was previously with British International Helicopters as G-BCEB and has lost the nose radar, radios and float sponsons she used to have with that operator and gained bubble logging windows.
