Wamos 747 on finals

Just looked out of the bedroom window, and OMG. TC-ACR, light up by the sun, at about 3-4000 ft - doing circles over Leicester. Thank god they changed the approach's to EMA a couple of years ago.

I notice he is still orbiting at 08.40. Is vis bad up there?

Should be AirACT not Wamos

Sorry, it was AirACT. As for vis it was good, but he did a good 10+ circuits before landing. Might have been a problem on the airfield.

Fog, RVR was 100m-150m. It landed at 0922 when the RVR crept up to 200m.
