This is the voting poll for the March 2018 Special Photo Of The Month competition, the subject was ‘British registered airliners'

Thank you to everybody who submitted entries - we had what I believe is a record number of 27 entries of a very high standard.
The poll is open to all registered members but you must be signed in to vote.
Please submit your THREE votes using the poll provided.

- You cannot change your vote once submitted and please vote for all 3 choices before hitting the submit button as you cannot go back to place 2nd and 3rd choices later
- Each of your three votes holds equal value
- The poll will run for 7 days from the time of creation
- Please don't vote for yourself! There is no way to enforce this, just an honesty policy
- Entrants are listed in alphabetical order for ease (with a short description to help identify the entries)
- Results will be announced on the photo thread in the usual manner and the winning photos will be posted in the Hall of Fame
the entries can be viewed here: http://www.civilianaviation.co.uk/forum ... 10&t=30049

thank you for your support
Andrew

a moment to settle down to the regular stuff instead of all the kefuffle that I'm suffering with questions (not on here fortunately) about next weeks Commonwealth meeting and movements into Stansted , the voting in this competition has now finished and there's even more work than usual for posting this in the hall of fame!

this month's winner is straight forward, just one with 5 votes and that's Neil( Cessna954) with his Virgin 747 banking out of Heathrow - well done Neil

2nd is also one on it's own, Pete (LondonEye)'s step back into the past photo from Gatwick of a Dan Air Comet - and well done Pete

but we get to third and there are 5 all equal with 3 votes! (thank goodness it isn't POTM , I'd have fun trying to fit all them on the FB header!) so in alphabetical order, well done to the following:
Stephen (BringbackEGDG) - DH.89 Rapide G-AHAG departing Woburn
Pete (EGNH1909) - BOAC Boeing 707 and a BOAC Super VC10 at Manchester
Niall (Niallsaviation) – EasyJet G-EZOJ about to touch down at Corfu airport
Mike (Norwichmike) - Eastern Saab 2000 at Aberdeen
Denis (Wiggy) - British Air Ferries Viscount at Dublin

thanks to everybody who contributed to a bumper entry and to those who voted
I'll post the winners in the Hall of Fame shortly

Andrew
