Please post all entries in this thread.

The subject for this month 'Wrecks & Relics', photos of aircraft in museums, withdrawn from use or ending up at the hands of the scrapman. This one should get you looking through your archives!

Photography Competition Rules

1. Only one entry per user, unless posting on behalf of another person who is unable to do so themselves (children for example). If this is the case, please state so on your entry.
2. The photo can be from any year.
3. The image can be photo-shopped to some extent, levels changes, cropping, sharpening etc are all acceptable. The photograph must retain it’s initial subject though, don’t make it something it’s not, (cutting and pasting the moon into the shot, for example). HDR images are not acceptable. If you are unsure, please PM a moderator.
4. The competition will remain open until 23.59 on the 30th June 2012.
5. The email voting system will be open from 00:01 on July 1st for 96 hours, however you cannot vote for your own photo !
6. All images must be posted in line with the usual CA posting rules, size etc, read them if you're not sure how to post etc.
7. The rules may be subject to change, and these will be posted on this thread.
8.Please also embed the images and not post a link to an image as it makes it harder to judge, if you're not sure how to do it, shout up and someone will sort it out.
9.Do not comment on other member's photos.
10. Only civilian aircraft please.

I think this one qualifies as a good excuse to dig this shot out.... Taken at Nyíregyháza in Hungary where the aircraft are used for spares to keep other AN-2's going

Taken at dawn at Dushanbe Airport, Tajikistan in 2005... it was quite odd watching passengers get into another one parked opposite this one that had crashed at the airfield a few months previous!

I'll offer this one, the former Olympic B747 SX-OADin a rather neglected state at Bruntingthorpe taken at the CWJ day in May 2009, most of the ASDA scheme had gone by then and even the tug look like it had seen far better days, and as for the steps- no good boarding passengers when the engines have been long gone!
